Love Architecture have, in association with Publica, been commissioned by Clerkenwell Preservation Society to undertake a major public realm study for Clerkenwell Green. The square has a rich heritage of public gatherings and protests but has, in recent times, been dominated by car parking. Love Architecture's study involves considering various options for reinstating the square as public space, improving connections for pedestrians and cyclists as well as restoring its role as a destination to enjoy in its own right through seating and soft and hard landscaping. |
