When asked to imagine the house they would have if money was no object they said, 'An old english rectory near Sloane Square, but when you walked out of the back you found yourself on the beach at Big Sur'.
To achieve this it was agreed to open the back of the house so that the garden became part of the room and extended as one space to a pavillion at its end.

Inside Outside House

The clients had a old conservatory at the end of a kitchen. It was replaced with a larger, more open extension, and integrated with the garden.
